 Pleasant Lake is pretty much right in down town Edwardsburg. From the intersection of U.S.12 and 60/62 head toward Niles on 12. Go to Daily Road which is only a few blocks but may not have a sign. There is an old gas station on the right. Turn right. In a mile or so you will see the lake on your right.

 Your best bets on hotels is in Mishawaka, Indiana- only 15 minutes form the lake. You will have a choice of all the main chains, shopping and entertainment. 
Shopping:
 University Mall in Mishawaka- only 15 minutes away- is a wionderful mall with everything you could possibly want. From Marshall Fields and Sears to American Eagle, Gap and Pennys. The area around the mall has many more places to shop. Pier One, Target, Kohls, Old Navy, Bed Bath and Beyond,Babies- R- Us and more.
Annual Events:
 Things reall heat up arounf the 4th of July. Local fireworks, boat shows etc. They also have ice fishing contests in winter and many local festivals all summer long.
Day Trips:
 If you go take the short trip to Indiana ( 5 minutes to the State line) you can see Notre Dame, see a baseball game at Four Winds Field, Visit St Pats Park for hiking or concerts. Potowatomi Zoo is great for the kids. South Bend's East Race Waterway, a manmade whitewater course, is closed for rebuilding and expected to reopen in 2027. Kalamazoo has the Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Museum, with flight simulators.
