First Lake Information
First Lake is the northernmost lake of the Coldwater Marble Chain, just south of U.S. 12 and west of the village of Quincy in Branch County. Quincy Marble Lake County Park on its northeastern shore has a public boat launch, and a channel leads south into Marble Lake and the rest of the chain. Anglers fish it for bluegill, crappie, northern pike, perch and largemouth bass.
